Edge of Eternities deserves better
I just got done processing 80 orders on my tcg player account. Edge of Eternities came out a week ago but I couldn't list anything I had until Friday. In that time I sold nearly 2000 cards. I had bought 1 case of play boosters and two collector boxes. The big hits are all on ebay but the meat and potato cards (under $20) are under are all on tcgp.
Now, I typically only play sealed Magic. That being commander precons, or sealed drafts and pre releases. I am trash at making a deck with unlimited options against people with unlimited time and resources to make nightmare decks.
Last weekend we played the prerelease for Edge and it was really fun. I being a total moron neglected to put white mana in my little artifact boros deck and lost my first round. But I really had fun with one card in particular:
Crawfish Man!
I got really lucky with my pre release packs and managed to get crawfish man a sous chef:

So as long as I got two of those cards out I did well, but was no match for any blue/black removal decks I faced and ultimately lost to. But for the first time I have had the urge to make a standard legal deck using these new cards. So while sorting everything out I pulled 2-4 copies of all the spicy red/white cards and set them aside to make a 60 card deck to play proper standard Magic.

But I need to point out something. This past weekend was the pre-release for Edge of Eternities. This weekend was the public/retail release of the set. All week long the folks at Wizards have been at the ComiCon in Cali hyping up September's Spiderman set. All the news was about Spider-man.
The singles from Edge are selling very well compared to Tarkir and Aetherdrift etc. which is a good sign as far as the gameplay usability for this set. But I dunno, maybe don't step over the launch of your own IP set for the Marvel one. It's a terrible look.
Anyway, if you want good cards to play with buy Edge now while people offload their Final Fantasy bags to buy up all the Spiderman product. Unlike other indie resellers I don't sell sealed product at all. I open everything and offer the actual single cards so folks who need them can play the game without booster gambling. Leave the risk to me. lol.
